That is always a good idea. Especially when our Pyr's reach that butt 
head stage, which Ben is certainly right in the middle of this minute! 
Research  trainers in your area and join a basic obedience class.  We 
all need the training too ;o  I've recently been taking some obedience 
classes getting several dogs ready for testing with Delta Society.  We 
have been playing a fun game with our dogs.  We pick a command and 
then communicate that command to our dogs without using any primate 
body language or verbal communication.  In other words, we are 
speaking dog! It's all done with body language, no hands, and the eyes 
or lack of eye contact.
