     All  collars  have their   good   and  bad  points but  there is  one
important  factor  not  being  mentioned.  The  success and/or  failure  of
a  particular method --- be  it  for  a  halti,  gentle leader,  prong  or
choke collar,  is  being  aware  of  the  proper  way to  use  that
particular  method.  If  you  are  unfamiliar with  them,  your  best
investment is  to invest  in a  session  with  a  dog  professional,  have
them assess  what  your  dog is  doing,  and  then  fit  your  dog  with
the  appropriate tool AND instruct  you  on its  proper  placement on the
dog  and  how  to  use it.  Within  an  hour investment,  walking and
control of your  dog  can  be  a  world of  difference.
