Re: [pyrnet] old pyr health question



Josie is almost ten now and she always stands when eating.  I read somewhere that because of their height, Pyrs have a harder time swallowing food while standing.  As she grew, I elevated her water and food higher and now she uses a feeder designed for taller dogs.

It's about the same height as the toilet bowl, which as you all know is the favorite drinking place for all pyrs.  But it's not as tall as the kitchen table, which is their favorite place to eat.
