Sorry to hear about Chloe. As one post said, anything happening to
any of our pets is devastating. The worst part is that they don't
understand what is going on.
My first dog, who had a bit of Pyr in him had epilepsy. Meds knocked
him out too much, but it seemed that milk products and potatoes were his
triggers. He still had infrequent seizures, but even with cancer lived to
be 15 years.
Cody, my 6 year old Pyr is said to have epilepsy, but the only place he has
a seizure is at the vet's office. He walks into the waiting room and he is
down on the floor with a grand mal seizure - scary! Needless to say, we
can't go to the vet anymore, as he has done this 3 times. It will now have
to be a housecall by the vet or an exam in the car at the parking lot of the
vet. He has never had a seizure at any other time.
Take care of yourselves and of Chloe!
