Re: [pyrnet] To the Rainbow Bridge

Dear Fred,
I join the others in wanting to express my condolences for your loss of your beloved dog.

I lost one of my "heart" dogs nearly 5 years ago (had to take him on my 40th birthday) due to oral melanoma.  After all this time, even though I continue to miss my boy, Chance (who was 12 and had a long happy life), I am grateful that it was swift and I would not allow him to suffer.  Also knowing that his diagnosis would not have been able to be treated, regardless of if I was a Rockefeller and had unlimited funds, gave me peace knowing that I did all that I could for him or that anybody could do for him.

Sometimes it is the final gift that we can give to them that is the hardest.

I believe that you will be with your boy once again and until then, you will have one giant, white angel watching over you.

God Bless!
