Funny how dogs are about new additions.
Lily was an only dog for about a year before I adopted Soleil and she acted as
if he didn't exist for about a week. Then they became best buds and
remained so until she left us a few months ago.
I'm nowhere near ready to think about another
dog and Soleil seems quite content being an only dog. But who knows what
the future will bring. Always before, it seems when the situation for
adopting a new pet presents itself, the time is usually right.
