I posted last week, concerned about Elijah (intact male 12 mos) suddenly shadowing 5 yr old (spayed) Molly, and CONSTANTLY washing and licking her right ear only.? At various suggestions, I took Molly to the vet to be sure she did not have an ear infection or anything else.
Sigh.. the good news is she is fine.? The bad news is that apparently Eli is transformed by her lovely right ear.? He is still licking it when he can, with an occasional nibble on her lovely toes.?
The rally story is - that I have begun rally obedience with him and we had our first class Monday night.? The instructor asked us to walk through the course without our dogs.? We were asked to tether them.? Around the room, there were heavy cement blocks with rings on the top for just that purpose.? We tied all the dogs up and then went to walk the course without them.?
At this point, Eli was quite interested in and wanting to play with, the fox terrier about 6 feet away from him.? No sooner had we all gathered to begin the walk through, than Eli simply began moving towards the terrier, dragging the entire cement block with him!? Everyone began laughing and I had to go gather up the big lug and have my daughter hang on to him.? It was pretty funny.? Honestly, he is not the largest pyr, but he is built like the proverbial brick house!? He looked like a tractor pull dragging that thing!
