Re: [pyrnet] Accident caused tail to not work

I don't have a tail, but I might be able to relate? I know this isn't quite what you're looking for....

On New Year's Eve, 2006, I was at a friend's house finishing my art portfolio for potential colleges. I slipped on her stairs and landed on my bum. No breaks or anything... but I was SO sore! I only bruised it (my tailbone) but for months I had to sit down very carefully, and even a year after, I would feel a dull ache if the weather was going to get bad. It wasn't anything serious, but it took a bit to figure out how to move around/sit down/stand up without aggravating the pain.

I don't know much about tail injuries, but maybe this is why she's not moving it and not sitting or lying down? She may just have to figure out how to lie down without bumping it the wrong way.

Best of luck. I know it's so hard when we accidentally hurt one of our Pyrs, and we can't explain to them that it was an accident... but it can happen to anyone. Don't beat yourself up--your girl is very lucky to have you.
