Deadlines make me grumpy, and my girlfriend's gone home to CA for the
summer.

Besides, when *I* was a kid, we all played D&D! We hated it, but we didn't
have a choice- it was the only game out there.  And we had to scratch build
our dice, carving them out of the bones of Fluffy, the DM's dog, sacrificed
so we could get a game in! We didn't have any of these fancy pants
"hard-cover" or "perfect-bound" or "full-color" books!

I'd go on, but I'm tired. Getting old does that to you.
