Or what could be fun (IMHO):

When the PCs are used to the Nazis being the bad guys, etc., have them
find a concentration camp filled with tortured prisoners.  It ends up
the prisoners are all various type of evil critters, and the Nazis are
trying to keep them from preying on the countryside.  What happens when
the camp is "liberated"? :)

There's also a story in David Drake's _The Military Dimension, Mark II_
about a sergeant in VietNam who finds out one of his soldiers is a
vampire of some sort, and then comes home to finish off the nest.  In
fact, Drake has some great horror stories about 'Nam, and not all of
them involve the supernatural.
