I recommend the comic book Hellboy to anyone on the Weird Wars or HOE
listserv.  It has everything Bobby mentions (see below) plus it's drawn and
written by one of the leading artist/writers in the comic industry.  Mike
Mignola (the artist/writer) was the lead designer of Disney's Atlantis (if
you haven't seen this yet go and see it -- the art and creatures are
incredible) and is also going to be the lead designer of the movie Blade 2. 
Some of Mignola's admirer/fans include Frank Miller (who started the whole
1980's comic book revival with the Batman book The Dark Knight Returns) and
Neil Gaiman (of Sandman fame).  The current series, "Hellboy: The Conquerer
Worm," is the last to center around Nazis.

  OT: Is anyone currently reading the current Hellboy limited series. It's
got Axis', Allies, A masked pulp hero, Demons, Elder Gods, Weird Science,
Ape-men, Bodiless/ageless German villains and more. Great material for the

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I
look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of
their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of
work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is
