1.  Is each War going to have its own supernatural
flavor, or is it Rune Magic for everyone? Runes seem
to fit the WWII setting perfectly, but I think that,
say, the American Revolution would demand a different
magical flavor.  (Masonic intrigue and good old
fashioned hermeticism, probably.)

TBD.

2.  Am I missing something, or would a French baker
who joined the resistance really have to buy
Proffesion: Baker as a cross-class skill?

Welcome to the D20 system. Your GM needs to decide specific skills based on
the character's background.

3.  Anyone know a good source for info about period
military hospitals?  I'm thinking of starting a
campaign in a hospital, since it seems like a good way
to gather a group of soldiers from diverse ranks,
services, and nationalities, and I like the idea of
the setting.  The PC's would be at the mercy of the
hospital staff, after all.

Nope, but sounds creepy!
