Let me be the first to appologize for the idiocy of some of my fellow Americans and their inability to see past the nose on their own face.  Unfortunately, we are already experiencing quite a few irrational hate crimes here.  Right now, people will lash out at anything and everything they see as anti-american.  Luckily, so far these people have been in the minority.

In their defense though, I have to say that even though you were dead on with what you said and did so without be-littling the U.S. (unlike previous un-named individuals), but our tensions are running so high that a lot of people will misread what you wrote.  So, your attempt to end this thread peacefully was in vain.  My best suggestion for anyone who is not from the United States, is to give your condolences, if you feel the need, and leave it at that.  No one here is in any mental shape to have their nations faults pointed out to them.  Think about it, we are a narrow-minded nation under normal circumstances, so imagine how bad it is right now.
