I haven't as of yet, but am looking into GURPS which is soon to release
sourcebooks for WW2 and the Age Of Napoleon.  

What I do hope to try before that is using Gary Gygax's Lejendary
Adventure system for Weird Wars.  We'll eventually see how that goes.

While most people probably prefer dice, it might be interesting to see
how the game works in diceless systems like Heaven & Earth (Guardians of
Order), or even Psychosis.  H&E is modern so the conversions would be
easy and Psychosis is just about as simple as a game system can get.

This is a great idea.  West End games certainly did some nice work.
