how about M:TG dominating what? M:TG is the grandfather. no compitition. 
other CCG's were 'born' from their foundation of a working game of "war" 
that didn't use playing cards.

cult followings!! yep!! my group still sits down to play STAR FRONTIERS a 
couple of times a year. then there's the occasional dive into COC, James 
Bond RPG and PARANOIA.  gotta love some of those old games. ever play 
starchild press's DOMINATION? awsome little book...
