You see, *that* was the warning you should have put on
the post on the other mailing list. The damage has
already been done. Since I'm at work reading this,
playing dumb is already the current default and not an
action that needs to be initiated. As for the
omnipotence - "Private Broadbent, would you be ever so
helpful and scout around that corner where all the
shouting is carrying on. Me? I'll just be running very
quickly over there towards the coast. Good man, carry
on, pip pip!.

Two thoughts (almost a weeks quota there).

1 - The killings are a ritual based on broadcasting
the message around the local countryside. The message
being "Jews are traitors." The deaths of the people
fuel the broadcast with their final words being the
message. Would be kind of interesting if the lads
final words were "screw you!" but that's beside the
point.

2 - Along the lines of screwing it up. Instead of what
ever intent they had, the local villains get something
not unlike the end scene on Indiana Jones and the Ark.
The spirits of the dead find themselves still there
rather than where ever else spirits go and get
somewhat grumpy about it. Cue nasty happenings and a
whole lot of dead Germans. Of course, this leaves our
heros standing there waist deep in blood and sure to
be blamed for this entire atrocity. Cue fleeing Poland
really quickly with a raving mob behind them.

Cheers,
Mr. B
