They are, indeed, just mailto links that open a blank compose message
with the proper 'To' and 'Subject' lines. They're also roll dependent.
So, you only get the 'kill' link beside a person's name if you have
that roll at night.

I think it'll work without sending HTML mail, but then there's nothing
particularly special about HTML mail. It's just a few more lines that
give the mail program a hint how to handle the message. Since it will
be a default-off option to use the hyperlinks, the email won't even
look different to the text-email players.
