Help For Terrace6x6

Introduction

Welcome to the network Terrace6x6 server. The Terrace6x6 "challenge" and " move" commands are described here, along with diagrams of the opening setups. Other commands are the same for all pbmserv games.

The rules of Terrace6x6 are exactly the same as Terrace and can be found on the Terrace help page.

Start a new game. Specify up to four userids. If three userids are specified and the third userid is "long", "medium" or "short", this starts a 2 player game. The 2 player long game is the default.

Make a move on the specified board (if it is your turn). A move is in one of the following forms:

      rc1-rc2
    s-rc1-rc2
      rc1-rc2:d
    s-rc1-rc2:d

where

s is the piece being moved (A,B,C,D,T) [ optional ]

rc1 is the starting position of the piece being moved

rc2 is the final position for the piece

d is the piece being captured [ optional ]
