That is a good idea (I never thought of that, as I don't use them while Role
playing me). I will have to use this some to help chart out back stuff like
that, helps give your city life.

Yeah, you wouldn't believe how new players react to this. I had one guy who 
would just wander his character around the city sometimes. Just to see 
what's happening. "I pack a lunch and go spend the day down at the docks. 
Anything happen."
Then you hit the big problem..... Players begin to expect this 'detail' and 
(as I have noted previously) will freak out a little when they sense you 
'vagueing'. "You mean the guy ahead of me didn't have exact change for the 
newspaper and had to pay with a check that was number 345. AHA they don't 
accept that low a number here. I citizens arrest him for fraud" ARRRRGGHH...
But fun really. And it doesn't take to long to sketch out the events. I 
start with 'one shots' and then work on 'fortnights', then on the month long 
ones. Finally putting in one or two year long threads. This seems to work 
best as the 'shorter' threads sometimes inspire or get woven into the longer 
ones....
