I'm assuming this is in reference to Hotshots, so I
would say yes, It does provide protection from all
side effects from fire. I mean they breath fire, so
you would assume there respiratory system is just as
resistant as the rest of them to fire and it's related
effects. Also with there ability to start fires a
hotshot would be constantly exposed to all the hazards
associated with them, so a hotshot who wasn't
protected from them wouldn't be alive long enough to
be in play, either as a PC or NPC. I think most of the
packages assume all these little niceties to keep
things simple and playable.
