I was intrigued by this idea and well it was a really well thought out
scenario. I got to thinking though, with the phases of the moon it could
actually be a cult of were creatures like in The Howling series of movies.
Maybe its just some psycho serial killer on the loose that doesn't realize
what he is doing (or the manitous are controlling him and he is unaware).
Just my 2 cents
