Re: [DL] Wall Walkers

welp, i'm back from the dead, literally.
after a brief period of inactivity due to massively corrupted system files requiring a reformat i have returned to the land of the undead. yay. i'm sure you're all much relieved to hear this, i know you've been feverishly wondering where i might have been ; )

anywho, back to the subject. wall crawlers are listed as size 14 which would make them (according to the size chart on p.61 of the Marshal's Handbook) 3 freaking tons?! wow. quite a bit bigger than i'd imagined the agile, surefooted, gravity defying creatures. imagine what kind of strength it would take to keep such a massive form upon a verticle or even horizontal surface.
2-4 tons is about the size of an adult wild hippopotamus (3-5 ft at the shoulder; 10-15 ft. in length) according to some quick research. there seems to be much debate in the area of hippo size it would seem. for an adult wall crawler you could put it at an average hippo size according to the above numbers:

3 tons. 4ft at the shoulder. 12.5 ft. long.

when visualizing it though, make the body smaller to adjust for the wall crawlers legs comprising more of its weight than the hippo does its. but overall it's the same dimensions if you get my drift.

either way, that's one big bug.
