The first day of Channukah would have been on Sunday, December 10 (24
Kislev, 5637). For a complete list of all Jewish holidays in the year
1876, goto http://www.chabad.org/cgi-bin/calendar?fullYear=1&year=1876&;
it has every Jewish holiday. If you goto the main page, you can also
look up all the holidays, their meanings, and signifigance.
