Another idea:

He was raised by dragons, yes. It was when he was 5 years old. They were a
couple of *nice* Maze Dragons, who got killed for being nice. Now, he has
the special ability  swimming: 5 (a 5 points advantage), and the othe magic
ability "Attract Evil Maze Dragons" for free. Of course, he is in the middle
of the Maze, on an island, and he has no way to explain to the Bad Maze
Dragons that he is just like them. ;-)

When he gets eaten, propose him to create another, new character.
