Re: That Character just ain't right - was [DL] Looking for random help

>I do have a "normal" guy in my campaign, but he is a munchkin with a
Sharps-50. Whenever there is trouble he climbs a tree. Not much
personality development going on there. Although, I have drawn him out a
little by playing on his heroic side.

even care about "Character Development"? (As a Marshall this one is key for
me - heck its what I like when playing, too)

Similar situation with my group. Soldier template taken right out of the
book. All he owns or cares about is his Sharps 50. Owns no clothing except
his Union uniform and his name is Slasher.

Me: What's his name?
Player: Slasher.
Me: What's his REAL name?
Him: Slasher.
Me: That's it? His momma spent (2d20) 19 hours trying to squeeze him out
into the world and as she held him naked, bloody and helpless in her arms
after that ordeal said "Aww...How cute. I'll name him Slasher?"
Him: Yeah.

So, I've been giving him flashbacks. Hasn't caused any in-Posse deaths yet,
but hope springs eternal.
