Woah, headspin.  Either D20 is WAY different than
regular deadlands, or that answer dos not match the
question.  Legend Chips do accumulate once an
adventure, which approximates to once every 4 sessions
(as seen in one of the original rule books, think
Marshal's ugide, dunno page).  As a rule though I try
to only give out legend chips when the posse does
something to aid mankind as opposed to their own
self-interest.  Saving a town qualifies.  

This should slow down how many the posse get.  As for
removing them, well, dunno how d20 does it.  The
original rules has them removed after specific usage
incidents.
