    Well, the way the game worked is that major outcomes were decided by major
tournaments.  Whichever faction won X tournament would get the prize, and
whichever one lost would get a little ding.  And at the end of Kingdom Come, a
faction got crushed utterly.
    That was kind of fun about Doomtown, both as a writer and a player.  If you
went to the big tournaments, you got to influence the storyline.
