There is a complete map of Lost Angels in the Lost Angels sourcebook.
It looks a lot like the rest of the city.  The Shanty town is outside
along the Ghost Trail.

4. West LA (inside the wheel): What's there? The maps I've seen so far 
don't really describe anything west of the golden cirlce. What's there?

assumed all the shanty towns were outside the actual circle of LA.
