RE: [DL] Re: house rules

One thing I'll be doing is to draw a card when half the dice are 1's - if its black, its a bust. This stops even numbers of dice from having less chance of botching than the next highest odd number (i.e. currently 2d6 botches less than 3d6, with the card draw rule it becomes slightly more but still less than 1d6)

the one I came up with everyone seemed to like. basically it gives players
less chance of botching when they're caught with their pants down and rolling
somehting they have no levels in

in addition to everything the white chip does, you can also:

spend a white chip before a roll to negate the unskilled penalty (-4)

shpend a white chip before a roll to roll one addidtional die (difference
being that you spend it before the roll, so you may be spending it for
nothing, but since you are rolling an additional die, you are less likely to
botch)

I may have stolen this idea from someone, and if I do I apologize, but right
now I think I came up with it on my own.
