I don't get this reaction at all. I wasn't complaining,I was merely pointing out how expensive it is to play DL here - I certainly wasn't throwing his advice back in his face. This must be the cultural thing I was talking about the other day - I read my posts and simply don't see what you see in them. Americans seem to misconstrue the posts of the English all over the internet (and vice versa to a lesser extent - we have less of an excuse since we are exposed so much to the American media, and therefore are used to the American way of speaking).
You see a subtext that isn't there, Allan, and assume a tone of voice that I am not using.
Two peoples divided by a common language, it was once said - very true.

Dude.
I've got to ask. Is there anything you don't complain about? Because you
just took someone's well-meant friendly advice and belittled it and his
effort on your behalf.
I ask because I just checked my killfile logs and saw where in one post you
just sat there and dogged both the D20 and the flagships systems in the
same post.
