EDEN STUDIOS GETS MEDIEVAL WITH ARMY OF DARKNESS ROLEPLAYING AND CARD GAMES

Albany, NY (March 17, 2003) - Eden Studios announces today an agreement with
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios for the design, production and distribution of
Army of Darkness roleplaying and card games.  Currently in development, the
game is slated to hit shelves in October 2003.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to bring gaming to the Army of
Darkness universe.  I've been watching and loving this movie for years.  The
characters, setting, and tone have created a cult favorite and we look
forward to adding to the property," said George Vasilakos, President of Eden
Studios.

"We are delighted to have Eden on board for the Army of Darkness games.  As
the creators of the premier zombie survival horror roleplaying game, a slew
of other horror-based products, and the very humorous HACK card game, we feel
that Eden brings the proper mix of levity, terror, and expertise to the
table," added Kobe Jackson, Product Development Manager at MGM Consumer
Products.  "We look forward to great Army of Darkness roleplaying and card
games."

"And it gets even better," George continued.  "We have one of the best game
designers lined up to pen the Army of Darkness roleplaying game-Shane Lacy
Hensley.  Shane is best known for creating the Weird West line of roleplaying
games, including the award-winning Deadlands.  Shane brings the great
writing, solid design, and irreverent tone so necessary to bring the Army of
Darkness game to life.  We loved his work on Fistful o' Zombies, and we are
jazzed that he's on board for Army of Darkness."

Shane Hensley chimed in, "Projects like this only come along a few times in
one's career, so you snatch them when you can.  I've met Bruce Campbell on
several occasions-he wrote forewords for a few of our Deadlands books.  No
doubt I'll come up with an excuse to consult with the Man himself as I set
fingers to keyboard.  Combine the monstrous cult following of this film with
Eden's usual high standards and this will be a definite winner!"

The Army of Darkness roleplaying game will use a special version of the
Unisystem, Eden's in-house roleplaying game rules that emphasize storytelling
and ease of play.  The rules allow players to take the role of their favorite
character from the Army of Darkness movie, or make up their own unique
Champion. Fans of the movie can look forward to full game stats for Ash,
Sheila, Henry, Arthur and more, as well as details on equipment, magic,
monsters and more!  While the Army of Darkness version of the Unisystem
focuses on drama and action, it will remain fully compatible with Eden's
other Unisystem games, including the Origins Award-nominated All Flesh Must
Be Eaten, Terra Primate, Armageddon, and CJ Carella's WitchCraft roleplaying
games.

The Army of Darkness card game will be designed by Eden's own George
Vasilakos, creator of the Abduction card game and developer of the HACK card
game.  It will be non-collectible, humorous, featuring fast and furious game
play.  Great for parties, game night, or a family get-together.

Eden Studios makes cool games. Their latest hit, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer
roleplaying game, continues to delight fans of the show and gaming.  All
Flesh Must Be Eaten, the premier zombie survivor horror roleplaying game,
sold out the first print run in less than four weeks.  Eden also produces CJ
Carella's WitchCraft, the roleplaying game of dark secrets and magic,
Conspiracy X, the roleplaying game of aliens and government cover-ups, and
the Eden Odyssey line of d20 system game products.  On the lighter side, Eden
Studios offers HACK!, a humorous card game based on the Knights of the Dinner
Table™ comic book by Kenzer and Company, and Abduction, the fast and furious
game of alien abduction.  Check out all the Eden Studios products at
www.edenstudios.net.
