It is in The Epitaph #2, in the Guns of the South. The Martini-Henry is
a .45 caliber single shot breech loading rifle, with the bullets being
special rounds that are incompatible with other .45s. It has a range
increment of 25, and does 4d8 per shot. It can mount a bayonet. To
compare it with the Snider/Enfield, the Snider/Enfield has the same
range increment and does 1 more die of damage per shot. However, since
the bullets for the Snider/Enfield are .58 caliber, they also cost more.

Hope this helps.

The "Short Chanber Boxer-Henry 45 Calibre" portion of that quote is the full name of the cartridge, and why it's incompatible with the other .45 Calibre weapons out there in Deadlands. Not to mention, it's also British, so needs to be imported...

Although the Confederates might get lucky and only need to get them from Canada... Of course, the Canadian Forces are just getting geared up as well (Having just started to stand on it's own feet as a country and all), so that might not be likely at all.

Just one of the more MINOR logistical headaches the people of the day had to face.
