Well, ok, maybe we don't have the little advantage of having seen Wasted
West yet (and a grrrr to lucky you) but I don't think it's way out in left
field based on the info we have so far.

Throckmorton controls all the automatons.  Hellstromme is the only one that
could do this up until now.  Hellstromme disappears while Throckmorton
appears.  

Then there's the idea that Throckmorton is the new T-1000 model of
automaton and has Hellstromme's brain as it's humdinger.
