[HoE] Got my HOE

Woohoo,
        Finally got my copy of HOE today. Haven't had time to read 
much yet (still haven't finished reading chapter 1)  but I did flick 
through looking at the pictures. 
The cover: I miss Brom, I like Mr. Parente's style although I'm not 
too fond of the subject overall, maybe it'll grow on me (I had a much 
lower opinion when all I'd seen was the miniture version on the Web 
page and heard a description on the list)

The colour pages: I miss Ron Spencer (glad to see he'd already done 
the Lost Colony logo). Mr. Fowler does an acceptable job of the 
archtypes, and I like the wormling scene in particular. The monsters, 
hmmm? there's just something about them that doesn't sit right. 
(Personally I'd like to see Anson Maddocks do some Critters in future)

The B&W stuff is a mixed bag, and I wont go into it 'cause I'm 
getting kicked out of the computer lab...crap...
