[HoE] Question about belongin's

I'm sure (well, not really) that this has come up before. I think that
the Belongin's table is wrong. This is because:

In the table (on page 51) it says that Belongin's: 3 gets you an item
worth up to $3000, the Ravenite archetype (p. 71) has Belongin's: 3 in
a pickup truck, but according to the gear table (p. 59) a pickup
costs $5000. Also, the Road Warrior has a similar problem--
Belongin's: 4 buying a semi, when a semi doesn't even show up on the
radar of the gear table.

My guess is that the Belongin's table is wrong, but I'd like to hear
what the official word is (or what the word of the list is).
