[HoE] Black Hats' Kevlar

Sure fighting Black hats alot means lots of kevlar vests. But the first thing 
is that you need to take into account what weapons were used. 20 BH's are tough 
and if the posse shoots there legs of with good ol' single shot's Then let them 
have 20 spotless suits of kevlar. After all if a posse which is maybe 6 people 
takes on 20 people, who not only have decent weapons but AP ammo up the cazoo, 
and the knowledge that the place they get the ammo from doesn't mind the full 
auto busts they are using. The average BH is merely less skilled than an 
average posee member. The two generaly have the same quality of equipment.

The big thing to worry about, from the posee's point of view, is what were the 
BH's doing when we wacked them?

Receiving a 'tribute' convoy. In which case a little town is right royally 
pissed with them since they have to send the convoy again. This time with any 
collateral damage replaced.

'Something Special'. IE. sample adventure with GM screen. Can the posee expect 
some more BH's to be around the next corner. Maybe this time with a couple of 
robots or cutter-bots in support.

Hunting a bunch of 'resistance' or 'scavs' that had hit a 'tribute' convoy. 
This is where the posee is lucky, after all maybe the BH's prey was stonger 
than first thought. Just a bigger gang of BH's to come. As long as the posee 
leaves the area probably not much would happen to them.

The next stage comes when the posee tries to sell their loot. Most of the towns 
that are near by BH encounters are under the thumb of ole Throckmorton. How 
long will it take for the BH spy to whistle over on his HI manufactured 
patented 'Shop em in' Long Range Radio transmitter, when the posee roles up 
with 20 kevlar vests ready for sale.
And since the town needs all the ammo for themselves. You as the GM can always 
come up with deals like.

"Well i no need 20 vests! But tell ya what. I've dis pick up truck ere. Half 
full tank o gas."
"What say you give me dem vests an dat fancy machine gun you have der for it?"

This way you can give something that is roughly equal money wise. But are the 
posee going to give up that SAW that was so helpfull with the last lot of BH's?
(An plus BH's ocassionly carry LAW's for that brand new truck :-/)
