OK, my POV

+4 on the table. I did not bat an eye at that. why? well, while the badness
generally goes up on the table, that is not 100% the case. In my last dead
lands game, we had two Backlashes. counting four back and forth from them
(so four trials form 2 BLs) IMHO 2 of 4 had the Huckster better off with
the Higher, 1 had worse off, one had a one no worse then other.  Hence, the
+4 is not really very bad.

Min Hand-given that the chart does not shift up, I see this as not so bad.
makes them more like starting hucksters.

Jokers:well, this is the biggest prob.  

One might consider an edge (5 or 3) to make "powerful" hucksers who work
like before, but to me, it just helps balance them.
