You play around with one of the best character classes, what do you expect?

Reducing the cost to 1 makes sense for me.
So from the above, and to repeat my original question...can you be a
non-junker Huckster who is _not_ a Veteran of the Weird West?
The best example here would be could a Weird West 200-year old Huckster take
on a student who was born after 2081 _and_ is not a Junkster?
A Huckster who wants to bring back the "old ways" Huckstering could
conceivably make an interesting character, for instance.

So they still get the "safe" Red Joker as well (at level 3, or at any level,
depending on which version). I take it you are referring to the
revised-to-come version?

What about the increase-by-1 minimum hand size?
Sounds fairly good, with one exception (knew there had to be one, right?).
Why is it dangerous for Veteran Hucksters? Because...manitous are more
powerful, right? If the strength of a Hex (or the ease of its casting, or
some combination of both) is dependent on a Hucksters ability to contact
manitous and channel their power...
...and there are more manitous, and/or much more powerful ones floating
about post 2081...
...shouldn't this in some way benefit a Huckster who has had 200+ years to
become experienced in their ways?
We've never really disputed that manitous are more powerful. But what is
Pinnacle's reasoning as to why manitous are more powerful, _yet_ Hucksters
that have been along with them during the manitous' entire rise of power,
who have _always_ tried to get as much power from manitous as powerful,
don't gain more power in 2094 than these more powerful manitous
