I think the difference here is this:

Harrowed, Hucksters, and Mad Scientists are calling on the power of 
*Manitous* or *Manitous channeling hunting ground power* to be more accurate.

Anti-Templars, with their "saints" call on the power of the *Reckoners* 
themselves, not some mere Manitou.

Yea, it will probably look bad fer a Huckster, Mad Scientist, or Harrowed 
at the Pearly Gates, and they may get a good talking-to, but they are not 
calling upon powers as dark and Powerful as the Reckoners themselves.
