[HoE] A tale of satisfaction and a question
I would just like to relate this tale to all Marshals who've had to put
up with power gamers who would do anything to make their character
"kewl". I was starting up a new group of Hores when it came time to
pull one characters' doomie mutation. Being a trusting sort I allowed
him to pull from his own deck when asked but kept my eye on his
shuffling, the top five cards never left the top, and to my amazement he
pulls the King of Spades, 10 of spades and a joker. But due to his
short glimpse in the back of the book when I was working with the other
players he misread the joker section and stacked with the black joker.
This has restored my faith in the great gods of gaming, but the question
is since a Doomsayer gets to choose which card to keep does he get to
ignore a black joker?. Normally no matter what, a BJ will leave you
bleeding from both ends but I just need it clarified.
My other question is: Are there any major changes to Junkers in The
Junkman Cometh? I have a player starting as one and I'd like to make
him compliant to the new rules. (plus 160 dollars does seem a bit much
for 50 GRs)
