That'll probably resolve things one way or another.  The only thing you 
might consider is making amends as far as extra starting points or something 
for any if he manages to kill a couple of PCs before he dies himself and 
they need new PCs.  Particularly if he then storms out, which he sounds like 
the kind of person who might do so.  He'll never know the difference...
