Re: [HoE] killing a PC on purpose.
After reading further down the list, I see your problem stems in the
player. I hate to say this, but I would say it is the player. Regardless
of who kills his character, be it you, the player, or even bad dice rolls.
As stated by someone else, the next character will be a vengeful,
bloodthirsty brother with better stats and bigger guns. Ok, maybe I'm
jumping to conclusions. It is possible this player would see the light,
but speaking from experience I'm going to say he won't. Sometimes you just
have to let players and "friends" go. However, not being personally
involved in the situation, I can't say my advice is the best. Talk with
the rest of the group and see how they feel about it? Perhaps he is the
wild one, the lone wolf and they have accepted that fact and even have some
use for him. Perhaps they can come up with some helpful ideas. Perhaps
they have friends wanting to join your game and this guy is taking up a
seat that a better player can be sitting in. Like I said I don't know, but
it sounds like you'd be better off saying good-bye. Well, let's see I'm up
to $.04 on the same topic :) Take it easy and talk at you later.
