For a round that huge [.50 is half an inch in diameter [12.5mm for you
Europeans. The .60 is 15mm], I'd up the damage to 4d8. That would
justify the cost at least [$5 per round and $500 for the gun itself.]
I'd have the character make a Strength check at 9, maybe even 11. They
miss, they take a wound to their arm as their wrist breaks. I wouldn't
allow double-taps on it either. If you do, give them a huge recoil
penalty [like -4 and then another -4 on the Strength roll.]
I would take it that the manitou could close up small stress fractures
quickly. Not so much as healing a wound, but more like preventing one
from happening.
