1 - You're operating off the assumption we think Cole looks cool to begin
with. As much as I like HoE, Pinnacle and Parente, I much prefer to use my
leatherette copy of HoE with the radiation symbol on it rather than look at
his goofy physique.
<But that's not the issue at hand>

2 - In the case of the UR cover - how does it add impact to the situation? I
saw the cover and said "What the hell?" and my co-worker replied "Looks like
they're marketing to the lowest common denominator now." This isn't the
image I'd want for HoE. Sure, it's an adult-themed world, but there comes a
point when one should go, "Ya know. This cover shows a naked chick holding
onto a big burly guy who appears to be rescuing her because she forgot her
clothes and equipment. WTF? Why?"

Like getting naked during investigations in haunted houses? How exactly does
that help *any* "ghost hunt"?

The Theatre is one of those things that you can let people get into or not.
Throwing sex on the cover is just gratuitous. Believe it or not, there are
women who roleplay, and as cool as that is, not all of them would be
thrilled with the idea of some guy rescuing a nude damsel in distress. I
find this *particularly* odd in the harsh "adult-themed" world of HoE, where
a woman who couldn't even clothe herself, let alone kick ass and take names,
would have likely been weeded out by now (13 years after the bomb).

I don't find it offensive. This isn't the back cover of the Tzimisce book
here (which doesn't offend me either). I simply find it odd, out of place,
and inappropriate.
