Agreed. Too much of any one thing ruins the game. Too much power for the
posse makes them start to get cocky and think they're the sh!t. Sorry
you're not. The Reckoners are. On the other hand if EVERY time they come
to a town the town screws them over then the game gets old and it turns
into a power trip for the marshal.
I was in a shadowrun game like that once. I once had to bribe a clerk to
ring up my grocery order. That was the last game I ever played with that
GM.
