Re: [HOE] Unity question.

Why weren't these used against the Combine during the siege of Denver? As I
recall, that's more or less what they were being set aside for, yet in the
Unity adventure, the Iron Alliance seems content to simply use more
conventional forces. It seems like a bit of a waste to me. The most likely
possibility I came up with was that Ike didn't want to risk destroying the
Denver Resistance along with the Combine. The second most-likely was that
the Denver facility had some sort of shielding device similar to the one
that protected Junkyard (how else could the factory have survived the Last
War in the first place?).
But, regardless of whether or not the facility was shielded against the
blast effects of a g-rock bomb, couldn't the Iron Alliance airburst the
nukes above Denver and let the EMP's wreak havoc? The main factory itself
and some of the super-heavy war machines might be EMP-hardened, but the
majority of the tech should be affected, and that includes automatons and
raptors, black hat headbangers, cyborgs, and the like.
Thoughts? Comments?

Remember that Hellstromme created the Denver shield (and yes, it does exist), LONG after the one he made for Salt Lake City. Meaning it's much improved. ;)
