[PyrNet-L] Metro Atlanta Club Meeting
I though this might be of some interest to some of you - so I am forwarding
this notice.

A group of Pyr fanciers has formed with the following short and long-term

1. To maintain and further the integrity of the breed.
2. To hold regular club meetings, matches, public education and fun
activities.
3. To obtain affiliation with the GPCA.
4. To exchange ideas regarding care, behavior, training, health, breeding,
and rescue for Pyrs.
5. To investigate formal AKC affiliation and endorsement.
Preliminary club documents have been developed. These documents include a
constitution, by-laws, a code of ethics and a rescue policy. Committees
and a club newsletter will be discussed.
Numerous Pyr owners have been contacted and have expressed interest in
becoming members of this exciting new club! The meeting will be held on
Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Shoney's in Smyrna, Georgia.
Take exit 10 off Interstate 285, go west toward Smyrna. Shoney's will be
approximately 3 miles on your right.
ALL CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE PYR OWNERS ARE CORDIALLY WELCOMED TO ATTEND!
