Just like you would anyone else, talk with them.  The trick is to not talk
with them when they suspect your motives are driven only by sucess for your
dogs.  Write them after shows as well,but the same applies.  Some judges are
so poor nothing helps, but we should all try.  Good dogs will win and good
breeders exhibitors will as well.  So reputation will help that is developed
by respect for your dogs developed over years of showing.
