I agree they should not attack  a walker by  that is not a threat - but dog
shows are crazy - my friend's male and his litter mate would try to eat one
another every time they saw each other!    Throw the sire under the tent and
all three had to be kept apart!    Why do you suspect this was and still is
with the two (since the sire has passed on to rainbow ridge)?      Lookers
on would think they are bad dogs - aggressive?   I have seen females do the
same thing - even more viscous.   Are they all bad representations of the
breed or is it that we sometimes expect too much from them to act & behave
and forget all their instincts.      I don't know - I think before we pass
any judgements we really need to look at the situation from a humans point
of view and to the best of our capabilities look at it from the dogs point
of view too.

A good question - Why when a small dog acts aggressive it is cute and
acceptable?      When a small dog tries to lung at a large dog and the large
dog reacts it's "that big dog is mean & aggressive" ?
