Some dogs hate each other on sight and remember who the dog is. It
doesn'tmatter if the dog is male or female, big or small. They are not bad
representations
of the breed if the above has happened. The ones that are bad representations
are the ones who lunge at all dogs without a real reason. You are aware of
the problem so you now avoid putting the two dogs under the same tent.
I have problems with people who don't pay attention to where their
dog's head is at shows or some other place, and are surprised when a
fight starts. I think pyr people are more aware of the power of their
dogs and what can happen so they stay alert.

Because the people are idiots?<g>. Small dogs are wonderful, as areother sizes
of dogs, if they are kept under control and taught manners.

Human nature and not facing reality. Humans think a big dog shouldknow it is
larger and not hurt the cute little doggie. Dogs see
an aggressive dog as aggressive, size doesn't always matter to them.
A neighbor has an American Eskimo who growls and lunges at my
pyr when the dog is walked by our lane. Want to bet who would get
blamed if the pyr decided to teach the AE some dog manners?
